DEHYDRATION
Dehydration can happen for many reasons, but most often occurs from a virus or stomach bug.
As these bugs are going around like crazy right now, here are some tips on how to keep your kiddos hydrated at home! Having this information can most definitely save you a doctors visit, an ER visit, and most importantly get your child feeling better — especially when you catch it early!
But, as always, there will be times you need to seek medical care. Here are some hints. :)
Signs of possible dehydration include:
* chapped lips/dry mouth
* few to no tears when crying
* dark-colored urine
* sunken eyes with dark circles
* no urine in 8 hours
* very sleepy or fussy
* sunken soft spot on the top of the head
