ECZEMA
Eczema is on the rise these days. Conventional treatment involves steroids or topical creams to "heal" it, but that's not getting to the root cause. It is just masking it and not addressing why eczema is popping up in the first place. Hopefully the resources below will help you get a start on your eczema research from another point of view!
Gut health is a big factor as well as avoiding environmental toxins as much as possible.

To all my allergy and eczema mamas, my heart is with you. The incredibly difficult challenge of seeing a little one suffer is what led me to the holistic wellness space to begin with, and a complete lack of answers or help from Western medicine is why we stumbled into the functional realm, and why we have found so much healing today.
I did my best to compile all the things we have done historically and continue to do that I would still recommend (my son is completely eczema free today), and things we are currently doing to still address allergies, because we aren’t out of the weeds there yet.
when somebody asks me where to start, you can probably see from the second slide that it’s hard to narrow down, because it’s really an entire
life change, and you HAVE to view it as one. It’s often not just about finding the one trigger and removing it.
and for all of you diligent, worn out Mom‘s who feel like you’ve done all the right things, I encourage you to really lean into the copper and vitamin a piece - sort through the second column of my slide in particular and see if there’s anything you might be missing ❤️
I’m happy to answer questions about our journey below, but of course cannot give specific advice for you or your child, although my heart aches with and for you ❤️
In recent years we have leaned a lot more into homeopathy for allergic reactions, although we do still carry EpiPen. @projecthomeopathy is a great resource.
Right now we are really leaning into the mineral and nutrient piece and using @heartandsoilsupplementsHistamine and Immune blend for my son, and @hormonehealingrd put me into the megaIgG2000 supplement as a replacement for colostrum, since my son has a dairy allergy. If you’re not working with a dairy allergy, colostrum is a fantastic extra support.
it’s a recurring conversation with many of you that healing full-blown food allergies doesn’t seem to be discussed a lot, and I hope to change that. I am praying we will be on the other side with proof that it can happen, and I believe we will in the right timing! In the meantime, I hurt with those of you who hurt and will continue to share all that has been helpful ❤️
